But seriously, traditional Filipino fashion involved flowing shapes, some see through fabric, and the mix of different patterned prints. Gigantic shoulderpads optional.
It’s because of our Spanish colonization that our silhouettes and penchant for loud colours/prints are like that. It’s called a Baro’t saya, usually made using cottons and embroidered organzas.
